FursadLink (“we”, “us”) connects job seekers, employers and organizations with verified opportunities across Somalia and the Horn of Africa. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

• Account details — your name, email and role when you create an account.
• Activity — jobs and tenders you save, alerts you create, and apply-clicks (we record that you clicked “apply”, not your application itself).
• Messages — anything you send via our contact form or newsletter signup.
• Technical data — privacy-respecting analytics such as listing views, apply-clicks and document downloads.

How we use it

• To operate your account, saved items and alerts.
• To send the opportunity alerts and newsletter you opt into — you can unsubscribe at any time.
• To improve the platform and understand which opportunities are useful.

Applications are external-first

When you apply to a job or tender, you do so on the organization’s own website or email. We do not collect your application content — only the fact that you clicked through, so you can track it in your dashboard.

Sharing

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run FursadLink (for example, our database host) under appropriate safeguards.

Your choices

You can update your details, remove saved items and alerts, or request account deletion at any time by contacting us.
